Golden Shield 9″ Damascus Bread Knife

Serve sourdough, baguettes and cakes with a dedicated serrated blade. This 9-inch Damascus bread knife pairs a red sandalwood handle with presentation packaging for a useful gift for a baker.

A gift they can use. A useful birthday or housewarming gift for Mum, Dad or a friend who loves baking.

Blade construction: 67-layer Damascus steel. The layered pattern is a distinctive feature of the Golden Shield collection.

Made for everyday use

• Materials: Layered Damascus steel with a 10Cr15CoMoV core, specified at 60–62 HRC, and a solid red sandalwood handle.
• Use: Slice sourdough, baguettes, soft loaves, pastries and cakes with the 9-inch serrated blade.
• Benefit: The serrations engage the crust so you can use a gentle sawing motion with less downward pressure on the soft centre.
• In your kitchen: Cut a fresh sourdough loaf for breakfast, portion baguettes for guests or serve cake at afternoon tea.

Why choose this bread knife?

• 9-inch serrated edge for crusty bread without pressing down the soft centre
• 10Cr15CoMoV steel core with layered Damascus construction
• Specified hardness: 60–62 HRC
• Solid red sandalwood handle; natural wood grain varies
• Presentation box included; see the product photos for the knife and gift presentation
