Knife care
Follow the instructions supplied with your knife. Where no product-specific instruction differs, hand wash with warm water and mild detergent, then dry immediately and thoroughly. Do not leave a knife soaking or place it in a dishwasher.
Use a stable cutting board intended for food preparation. Avoid bones, frozen food and other unsuitable hard materials unless the exact product instructions expressly allow them. Never use a kitchen knife as a lever, screwdriver or opening tool.
Store the clean, dry knife so the edge is protected and cannot be reached accidentally. Keep it away from moisture and do not leave it loose in a drawer or concealed in a sink.
